This is the web site devoted to the work of Dr Stan Owers and his PhD thesis titled 'The Place and Perception of Technology in the Curriculum: Historical Developments up to 1997'

Stan passed away on 1 March 2012 aged 84. This site is kept alive to recognise the impact of his academic research, conducted in the years after his retirement as a senior engineer with Ford of Europe, where he helped develop the Ford Capri and Ford Transit vehicles.
